some books give us more
some books give us less
but we must always remember
not to put them in a mess

MY OWN IMAGINARY POEM

The Ice-Cream Man

When summer's in the city,
And brick's a blaze of heat,
The Ice-Cream Man with his little cart
Goes trundling down the street.

Beneath his round umbrella
Oh, what a joyful sight,
To see him cones with mounds
of cooling brown and white;

Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry,
or chilly things to drink.
From bottles full of frosty fizz,
green, orange, white or pink.

His cart might be a flowerbed
Of roses and sweet peas,
They way the children cluster round
As thick as honeybees

birds

while blackbirds sing their matting song,bluebells walk on summer's dawn

like a gaint carpet laid out before,bluebels fill the forest floor

rais of sunlight piece the trees,to castle over bluebellsin the breeze

time stands still as you stop and stair,the fragrent cents of bluebells in the air

with silent chrimes of bells so blue,this gift is from nature to me and you.
